Reflections from the Jean Monnet Academic Forum Webinar

 

I recently had the opportunity to speak at a webinar hosted by Nova Univerza (New University) in Slovenia as part of the Jean Monnet Academic Forum on “Measuring Business Impacts on Climate Change and Human Rights.” It was a pleasure to share reflections from the WBA’s work on benchmarking companies on human rights and to discuss why transparency and accountability are key to driving corporate action.

The session was expertly moderated by Ms. Anja Strojin Štampar from New University, and I was joined by Ms. Tanja Malovrh, who shared insights on the economic aspects, and Mr. Jernej Letnar Černič of New University, who brought in valuable legal and academic perspectives.
