Joining the Taskforce on Inequality and Social-related Financial Disclosures Steering Committee

I am proud and honoured to announce that I have joined the Steering Committee of the Taskforce on Inequality and Social-related Financial Disclosures (TISFD). This is an incredible opportunity to collaborate with a distinguished group of leaders across finance, business, labour, and civil society from around the world. Together, we will work to shape a framework for social-related financial disclosures that addresses inequality and helps build stronger, fairer economies.

The work of TISFD is crucial in today’s world, where inequality remains a pervasive challenge. By integrating social considerations into financial disclosures, we can influence business practices and policy decisions, ensuring that they better serve people, communities, and workers—especially those whose voices often go unheard. The framework we aim to develop will have real-world impacts, guiding companies and investors to adopt responsible practices that prioritize social equity.

I am particularly committed to ensuring that this work remains purposeful and relevant for everyone, particularly those who are typically excluded from decision-making processes. The diverse composition of the TISFD Steering Committee will allow us to draw from a wealth of perspectives, ensuring that our work is inclusive and that it reflects the needs and experiences of all.

The Steering Committee includes senior leaders from a wide array of influential organizations, including financial institutions such as ING, CalPERS, and AXA, global businesses like Schneider Electric, Natura & Co, and McCormick & Co, as well as key civil society organizations like Oxfam, Pro Mujer, and IndustriALL Global Union, among others. This collective expertise will be instrumental in advancing our mission.

I am excited to be part of this pivotal work and look forward to engaging with my fellow committee members to develop a meaningful framework for social-related financial disclosures that can drive systemic change.
