Hernan Santa Cruz Dialogue Series - Human Rights Based Economy: Role of Business Enterprises

The UN Human Rights division has launched the Hernán Santa Cruz Dialogue Series, a platform aimed at exchanging progressive ideas about economic and social rights, the right to development, and the 2030 Agenda. Inspired by Hernán Santa Cruz Barceló, a key architect of the UN human rights system, the series intends to raise awareness and spark discussions at the national level for implementing these rights globally. The initiative will focus on economic and social rights issues and engage people worldwide to amplify their voices and empower them as agents of change. The Declaration on the Right to Development, emphasizing people-centered development through international cooperation, is central to the effort of creating more resilient and inclusive societies worldwide. Through this dialogue series, UN Human Rights strives to promote practical realization and integration of economic, social, and cultural rights while fostering global cooperation and human rights awareness.

I was invited to speak at the Hernan Santa Cruz Dialogue Series in November 2022. Below is a link to the recording of this virtual dialogue
